About Aymen Segni and my blog.

Updated June 2026

I am Aymen Segni. I’m a father, a husband, and a diligent son (hopefully). I work as a Principal Engineer/Consultant, specializing in software engineering, cloud-native platforms, MLOps, SRE, DevOps, and AI infrastructure. I am also building Shipmoor.dev on the side, an AI integrity framework that validates AI-created code before I review it or it reaches my CI/CD pipelines. I founded Drizzle System, an AI-native platform & infrastructure consulting boutique, and Shipmoor.dev, a verification layer for AI agent loops.

In my personal life, I enjoy traveling, farming, and sports—specifically football (soccer), F1, and tennis.

In AxS Journal, I write about the engineering mechanics behind production systems, including Kubernetes, GitOps, observability, Terraform, model serving, AI platforms, and the operating practices that help teams work more efficiently without compromising system stability.

What I Write About

  • Socio-technical systems (STS) and the frameworks that emphasize the interdependencies between human behavior, engineering culture, and technology.
  • Platforms that reduce cognitive load instead of hiding complexity badly.
  • Infrastructure that is secure, observable, and boring in production.
  • AI systems that are treated as software systems, with tests, gates, and operational discipline.
  • Engineering cultures where delivery speed and long-term habitability reinforce each other.

You can find my work on Drizzle Systems, Shipmoor, GitHub, LinkedIn, and X.
